Paul, Bob and trusty terrier Ted travel to Blakeney Point in North Norfolk for a sea fishing adventure. Blakeney Point is a four-mile spit of shingle and sand beach bank, with the North Sea on one side and the Glaven Estuary on the other. It is a nature reserve and an important nesting ground for terns and gulls. There is also the chance they may spot a seal in the sea. After a day of mixed fortunes, they take a boat back to the car and head to their accommodation for the evening: Bear's Cottage, which was built in 1856 and is surrounded by 200 acres of trees, including giant redwoods and noble firs.
