Ria is a middle-aged woman who seems to have it all. She's married to Ben, a dentist who collects butterflies, and they have two teenage sons and live in a nice house. But Ria is not happy with her life, as both her husband and sons take her for granted and she finds herself wanting something more. That changes when she meets successful businessman Leonard. An unconventional close friendship develops between the two and Ria contemplates adultery. She finds herself caught up in confusion about her feelings for both Ben and Leonard.
