Maxine Peake performs the writer's monologue Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet — the tale of a woman whose chiropodist of many years drops the bombshell that he is moving to Scarborough. He suggests Mr Dunderdale, who's retired but likes to keep his hand in. She is also looking after her brother Bernard, who is recovering from a stroke, and she's been instructed to throw language at him to help his recovery. And so, on her return, she switches off the snooker and tells him about Mr Dunderdale and her pre-fungal condition
