Brown and Van Cleef team up to rob the treasure hidden away in a Mexican fortress commanded by O'Neal. Considerable carnage ensues, at the end of which Brown is left with Hill among smoking ruins and bleeding bodies. An attempt by Americans to make an Italian western, this is convincing evidence of the foolishness of such an undertaking.
