Classic drama based on the Tennessee Williams play, starring Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman and Burl Ives. Alcoholic ex-football player Brick Pollitt and his stormy wife Maggie visit the family's Mississippi plantation to celebrate Brick's father's birthday. However, the party mood quickly turns sour when the subject of grandchildren comes up, a sore point with Brick and Maggie, and it's not long before a bitter confrontation takes place.
