This road trip's halfway point sees experts Irita Marriott and Raj Bisram meandering through the Midlands in their 1967 Princess Vanden Plas classic car. Irita's eye is caught by six silver goblets, while Raj mistakes a silver candle snuffer for a Georgian toddy ladle. Their precious metal extravaganza continues with a chromed 'Sputnik'-style lampshade, an aluminium toy racing car and a pair of gold brooches for Raj, plus a silver-collared decanter and fruit knife for Irita. She also invests in a Danish enamelled necklace. Then, they take a bow in Birmingham, where Raj learns about the crucial role the Hare and Hounds played in the UK's reggae explosion of the 1980s. Basil Gabbidon, guitarist and vocalist in groundbreaking Brummie band Steel Pulse also helps Irita form an impromptu band so they can all enjoy a jam. But will they drum up any profits at the auction? Victory is clinched when one lot sells for six times what the expert paid for it.
