Clare Balding presents live action from the first-round matches as multiple Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz returns to the championships to defend his 2023 title. Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz are also challenging for the title, as well as Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov. Americans have won the men's singles a record 33 times at Queen's, and Fritz is joined by his US compatriots Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe and Sebastian Korda, who was defeated by Alcaraz in last year's semi-final.
